Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) today announced the successful completion of its largest-ever physical settlement of gold and steel rebar futures contracts, valued at US$25.20 million, by the Dubai Commodities Clearing Corporation (DCCC).

Monetary Authority of Singapore Statement On Lehman Brothers Minibonds

MAS has received queries on the options available for Lehman Minibonds' noteholders. HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited (the trustee) has informed MAS that the 15 day grace period for the coupon payment for Series 5 and 6 of the Minibond programme expired today and no payment has been received. As such, an event of default has occurred.
