ICAP Acquires 15% Of Bolsa De Productos De Chile (BPC)
ICAP (IAP.L), the world’s premier voice and electronic interdealer broker, has acquired a 15 percent stake in the Bolsa de Productos de Chile (BPC), a commodity exchange in Chile. With this stake, ICAP becomes the first international investor to have an ownership stake in a Chilean exchange.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Monday, 28 January 2008, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. FWB And Eurex Exchange Councils Elect Chairmen - Lutz Raettig Confirmed As Chairman Of FWB Exchange Council - Gustav Gaß New Chairman Of Eurex Exchange Council
The Exchange Council of Eurex Deutschland and the Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse – FWB) were reconstituted on 18 January 2008. The current members of both Exchange Councils were elected on 21 November 2007. Each council consists of 18 members elected for a period of three years.

Daily Volume On MICEX Stock Exchange Hits All-Time High - Trading Volume On January 22 2008 Hit A Record High Of US$ 11.64 Billion
MICEX Stock Exchange, the leading Russian stock exchange, announces today that at the close of trading on January 22 2008, trading volume in securities totaled RUR 286.89 billion (US$11.64 billion). This is the maximum trading volume achieved in the entire history of the MICEX Stock Exchange, which was launched in March 1997. The previous record of RUR 275.53 billion was registered on November 1 2007.

Börse Berlin Equiduct Trading Appoints 2 Sales Directors For Its Pan-European Stock Exchange Business - Launch Of Sales Units In France And UK
Börse Berlin has passed another landmark in realigning its position in the European market with the appointment of two outstanding financial market specialists to develop its sales units in France and the UK. Gilles Monat will be responsible for sales in the French-speaking countries while the English-speaking market will be the remit of Jonathan Woodward. Until recently, Gilles Monat was managing the Belgian and Luxembourg subsidiary of a leading international supplier of financial software.

Agreement Between SWX Swiss Exchange And AGEN Holding SA
The SWX Swiss Exchange and AGEN Holding SA have reached an agreement with regard to the company’s violations of IFRS in its consolidated financial statements 2006. The deficiencies identified by SWX relate to the incorrect recognition of share-based payments as well as the rule inconsistent calculation and disclosure of an impairment charge. AGEN Holding SA will retroactively correct and disclose these errors in its consolidated financial statements 2007 as well as in its semi-annual report 2

The Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the MICEX have signed the General Agreement of Cooperation in the sphere of development of the commodity and stock markets in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The Agreement was signed today in Nizhny Novgorod by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Shantsev and President of the MICEX Alexander Potemkin.
