Shanghai Stock Exchange Completes Annual Appraisal For Secretaries To Directorates Of Listed Companies

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has recently finished the annual appraisal for secretaries to directorates of listed companies. Among the secretaries to directorates of 858 listed companies except the six who took the posts after May 1, 125 secretaries to directorates are appraised "excellent", 460 "good", 266 "qualified" and 7 "unqualified". Besides, the SSE also made a resignation appraisal for dozens of secretaries to directorates who left their posts.

CHX Raises Rebate For Providing Liquidity

The CHX announced today that beginning today, July 1, 2009, the rebate paid to customers providing liquidity in Tape A and C issues trading above $1.00 in the CHX Matching System will be raised from 0.26 to 0.29 per-100 executed shares. CBOE Year-To-Date 2009 ADV Up Three Percent - June 2009 Daily Volume Averages 4.2 Million Contracts, Down 14 Percent

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that average daily volume (ADV) year to date through June 2009 was 4.6 million contracts, up three percent from 4.5 million contracts for the same period in 2008. During the first six months of 2009, nearly 570.0 million contracts changed hands - up two percent from the same six-month period a year ago when 558.0 million contracts were traded.

NYSE Corrects Web Notice Regarding AIG

Today, the New York Stock Exchange erroneously posted on nyse.com a notice of suspension and delisting for American International Group, Inc. (AIG). AIG is not subject to suspension and delisting, and was not responsible for the error. The post was removed upon discovery. The NYSE regrets the error.

CFE's June Average Daily Volume Is Highest Of 2009 - ADV 6% Ahead Of Previous Month, Down 36% From 2008, June Is Busiest Trading Month Since Last October

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) today announced that average daily volume during June was the highest to date during 2009, while total trading volume at CFE reached its highest level since October 2008.The 3,012 contracts traded per day during June was an increase of six percent from 2,836 contracts traded during May 2009.Total trading volume during June 2009 was 66,254 contracts, 17 percent ahead of the previous month when 56,728 contracts changed hands.
