Athens Exchange: Short Selling Notification Obligation
According to Decision no. 485/23 by the BoD of the Capital Market Commission, dated September 23, 2008 physical or legal entities that open a short position over a particular share that exceeds 0.10% of a listed company’s total number of shares, amongst others, must immediately, notify this position to Athens Exchange (and in any case by no later than 17:00 hours local time next day). Athens Exchange announces that notifications can be remitted:

DTCC Launches New Global Reconciliation Service For The Syndicated Loan Market
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) today announced the launch of its Loan/SERV Reconciliation Service that will help automate and streamline the processing of syndicated commercial loans by enabling agent banks and lenders to view and reconcile loan positions on a daily basis.

SIFMA Recommends That Member Firms Immediately Address Treasury Settlement Fails
The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) through its government and funding divisions, noting a recent, significant increase in the level of settlement fails in the U.S. Treasury securities market is issuing recommendations to member firms. SIFMA recommends that member firms immediately address Treasury settlement fails, and in particular, ensure that management and compliance are engaged in efforts to reduce the overall level of settlement fails in this market.
