ECB Amends Rating Requirements For Asset-Backed Securities In Eurosystem Credit Operations

The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) has decided to amend the rating requirements for asset-backed securities (ABSs) to be eligible for use in Eurosystem credit operations.

NASDAQ OMX Launches New Fixed Income Index - OMRX All Index Added To Expanded OMRX Index Family

NASDAQ OMX Stockholm announces that it has launched a new fixed income index named OMRX All Index, which will act as a benchmark for the Swedish bond and money markets. The index includes treasury bills, nominal treasury bonds as well as nominal bonds from major mortgage institutions. The OMRX All Index will be added to NASDAQ OMX' new expanded OMRX fixed income index family.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that in its annual election held today, Thursday, November 19, the membership elected eight individuals to the CBOE Board of Directors to fill expired positions.The new terms begin on January 1, 2010.

November 2009 Monthly Preliminary Performance Report Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Indexes

The Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index was up 2.16% for the month of November. The Dow Jones-UBS Single Commodity Indexes for Wheat, Silver and Gold had the strongest gains with month-to-date returns of 13.75%, 13.52%, and 9.76%, respectively. The three most significant downside performing single commodity indexes were Natural Gas, Nickel and Cocoa, which were down -12.52%, -7.12%, and -4.66% respectively, in November.
