  • The Stock Exchange Of Thailand Extends Agreement With NASDAQ OMX

    The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc (NASDAQ:NDAQ) has signed an agreement with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that extends their relationship for a further five years. Under the terms of the agreement, NASDAQ OMX will continue to support the integrated trading and clearing platform of the Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX). The system was implemented five years ago and TFEX, a wholly owned subsidiary of the SET, started its trading in 2006.

  • Tokyo Financial Exchange And Deutsche Börse Sign A License Agreement For The DAX Index

    Tokyo Financial Exchange Inc. (TFX) and Deutsche Börse AG have signed an agreement which allows TFX to list a DAX® derivatives contract on TFX. The German equity index DAX comprises the 30 largest blue chip companies listed at Deutsche Börse’s cash market (Xetra) and represents around 80 percent of the market capital that is authorized in Germany.

    Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX), the first pan-Asian multi-product commodity and currency derivatives exchange, today announced that Trafigura Derivatives Limited, a subsidiary of a leading global commodities trading group Trafigura Beheer B.V., has signed up as a Trade Member of the Exchange.
