    Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, February 22, 2010: Nexstar Energy Ltd. (TSXVN:NXE.A) will be removed from the index as a result of a plan of arrangement with Result Energy Inc.

    NYSE Euronext (NYX) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NYSE Arca, today began trading the PowerShares CEF Income Composite Portfolio(Ticker: PCEF). The ETF is sponsored by Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC and is the first ETF to hold closed end funds.

  • Delivery Month Reminders for ICE Futures Canada March 2010 Contracts

    Spot month begins on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 4:00 pm CT.  All positions in delivery month futures must be at or below the relevant speculative position limit by this time, or must fall under one of the exemptions in Rule 12.  Speculative position limits are 1000 contracts for Canola futures, and 250 contracts for Western Barley futures. Information on position aggregation requirements can also be found in Rule 12.

  • LME Launches Cobalt And Molybdenum Futures Trading

    The London Metal Exchange will launch the world’s first cobalt and molybdenum futures contracts to be traded on exchange on Monday 22 February. The new contracts will introduce regulated exchange pricing, transparency, risk management and clearing to these two important metals used in a wide range of applications.
