SIX Swiss Exchange: Listing And First Trading Day Of Weatherford On 17 November 2010

On 17 November 2010, the shares of Weatherford International Ltd. traded for the first time on SIX Swiss Exchange. Acceptance into the SPI will commence on 17 November 2010 after the close of trading and be progressively phased in over a period of five trading days. During that time frame, the company’s free float will be increased by 20% each trading day. For the time being, the stock will not be added to any sub-indices of the SPI Family (e.g. SPI Extra, SPIexSLI).

Korea Exchange: Temporary Trading Hours Change

The KRX Markets (KOSPI Market, KOSDAQ Market and Derivatives Market including KOSPI 200 Futures on CME Globex and KOSPI 200 Options on Eurex) will open and close one hour later on November 18, 2010 due to the annual Korea Scholastic Aptitude Test. However, after-hour periodic call auction and block trading session will close as usual at 18:00. (KRX)

The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today released its weekly program-trading data compiled from member firms’ executed volume from NYSE’s orders database. The report includes trading on the NYSE for Nov. 1-5.
BM&FBOVESPA ETF Financial Volume Grows In October

The financial volume registered in October by the seven BM&FBOVESPA Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) reached BRL 654.85 million, in contrast to BRL 646 million in September. The ETFs BRAX11, CSMO11, MOBI11, BOVA11, SMAL11, MILA11 and PIBB11 registered 17,920 trades. In the previous month, the number of trades was 23,391. In October the ETF with the highest financial volume was BOVA11 with BRL 558.24 million, in comparison to its total financial volume of BRL 551.45 in September.
