  • NYSE Arca Europe To Introduce U.S. Equities From Wednesday 21 April

    NYSE Arca Europe, NYSE Euronext’s European Multilateral Trading Facility, today announced that it will be giving customers access to the 100 most liquid U.S. equities, featuring 86 NYSE listed companies and 14 other listings, from Wednesday 21 April, creating the first truly transatlantic trading platform. NYSE Arca Europe is inviting customers to set up their trading arrangements and will be offering a three-month fee holiday from 21 April.

  • The London Metal Exchange Appoints Sir Brian Bender KCB As Chairman

    The London Metal Exchange (LME) today announces the appointment, with immediate effect, of Sir Brian Bender KCB as Chairman of both its Holdings and Limited Boards. Sir Brian takes over from Donald Brydon CBE, who recently announced his intention to step down as Chairman once a successor had been found.

  • HKEx: Arrangements For Adjustment Of Swire Pacific A Futures And Options

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced the arrangements for the adjustment to the contract terms of all outstanding Swire Pacific A’s (Swire A) futures and option contracts in existence after the market close on the business day immediately before the ex-date to account for conditional special interim dividend in specie of one share of Swire Propoerties Limited for every 10 Swire A shares.

  • HKEx: Moment Of Silence In Trading Hall For Qinghai Earthquake Victims

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will observe a one-minute period of silence with all Exchange Participants in the Trading Hall at 9:56 am tomorrow (Wednesday) as a sign of respect for those who died as a result of the earthquake in Qinghai last Wednesday. The brief ceremony will be led by HKEx Chairman Ronald Arculli and Chief Executive Charles Li.
