UK's Financial Services Authority Fines Director For Not Disclosing Information About Adviser
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined Christopher Davies, director of Newquay Investment Services (2004) Limited, an IFA based in Cornwall, £17,500 for not disclosing to the FSA important information about an adviser Davies had employed at Newquay. This led to an unacceptable risk of customers being recommended unsuitable mortgages.

RTS Stock Market Weekly Trading Results: August 17 – August 21, 2009
Over the week of August 17 – August 21, 2009, the RTS Index went down by 0.89% to reach 1,050.44 points (1,059.92 points as of August 14, 2009). Most of the negative impact on the Index dynamics was related to the falling prices for ordinary shares of JSC "RusHydro" (HYDR) (minus 5.24 points), ordinary shares of OJSC "OC "Rosneft" (ROSN) (minus 1.84 points) and ordinary shares of OJSC Uralkali (URKA) (minus 1.73 points).
