Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad’s (BMD) crude palm oil futures (FCPO) contracts reached an all time high of 451,843 contracts for November 2010, surpassing the previous record of 442,220 contracts for April 2009.

SSE 380 Index Opens At 4,500 Points On 1st Trading Day

The average P/E ratio of SSE 380 Index was 35.8, higher than 17.5 of the overall average P/E ratio of the companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and close to 37 of that of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), SSE Vice President Zhou Qinye said at the launch ceremony of SSE 380 Index yesterday. Quite a few fund companies have expressed their desire to develop products based on SSE 380 Index, while the SSE is also looking forward to the early introduction of relevant products.
Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, November 30, 2010: Second Wave Petroleum Inc. (TSXV:SCS) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol. Fortress Minerals Corp. (TSXVN:FST) will trade on a 1-for-20 consolidated basis. CBOE Futures Exchange Extends Trading Hours For VIX Futures - VIX Futures Will Open At 7:20 a.m. Each Trading Day Beginning December 10

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) today announced that beginning on Friday, December 10, the exchange is changing the start time for the trading of futures on the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) from 8:30 a.m. (Chicago time) to 7:20 a.m. (Chicago time), pending regulatory approval. The closing time of 3:15 p.m. (Chicago time) for VIX futures will remain the same.

The members of the Kansas City Board of Trade in a special election held on November 30 approved amendments to the KCBT’s Hard Red Winter wheat futures contract by a vote of 115 to 36. The Board of Directors approved the amendments at a meeting on November 4.
