ICE Announces Successful Transition Of Credit Default Swap Open Interest From ICE Clear Europe

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), a leading global provider of data, technology and market infrastructure, today announced it has completed the cessation of credit default swap (CDS) clearing at ICE Clear Europe. ICE Clear Europe announced in June 2022 that it would cease offering clearing services for CDS instruments and work with Clearing Members and their Clients to close-out their positions at ICE Clear Europe and re-establish over $400 billion of open interest at alternate clearing houses.

Rising Optimism Prompts Largest Inflows For 1 & ½ Years At US$326m - CoinShares: Fund Flows

- Digital asset investment products saw inflows of US$326m, the largest single week of inflows since July 2022.
- Bitcoin saw 90% of the inflows at US$296m, although recent prices rise also prompted inflows of US$15m into short-Bitcoin investment products.
- The improving optimism also prompted significant inflows of US$24m into Solana, while some other altcoins saw inflows this optimism did not include Ethereum which saw another US$6m of outflows.

Fusang Exchange today announced the successful tokenisation and listing of a digital sukuk representing the corresponding underlying sukuk issued by the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILM)*. IILM is an international organisation established to address liquidity management challenges faced by Islamic financial institutions globally and acts as the programme administrator of the underlying sukuk.

The government has confirmed its final proposals for cryptoasset regulation in the UK, including its intention to bring a number of cryptoasset activities into the regulatory perimeter for financial services for the first time. This document provides the government’s response to the consultation and call for evidence on the future financial services regulatory regime for cryptoassets, which was published on 1 February 2023 and closed on 30 April 2023. It summarises the feedback received by HM Treasury in response to the consultation, and details how this has influenced further development of the government’s approach.
