Tendered Deutsche Börse Shares To Be Included In DAX

Deutsche Börse today announced an adjustment to the DAX index. As a result of the expected merger with NYSE Euronext, the Deutsche Börse AG shares (ISIN DE0005810055) in the DAX will be replaced with the tendered share class of Deutsche Börse AG (ISIN DE000A1KRND6). This change will be effective 20 July 2011 and reflects the decision of the Working Committee for Equity Indices published on 6 June 2011.
Futures On CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) Sets New Single-Day Trading Record

CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) announced yesterday that trading volume in futures based on the CBOE Volatility Index® (VIX®) established a new single-day record of 104,773 contracts on Thursday. Today's record exceeded the previous daily record of 101,146 contracts set on June 16, 2011.

NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) announced today that Deutsche Boerse AG (XETRA DB1) has notified the Company that Deutsche Boerse shareholders have approved the proposed combination with NYSE Euronext. According to final results disclosed by Deutsche Boerse, 82.43% of Deutsche Boerse shareholders tendered their shares by July 13^th, 2011 surpassing the requisite 75% needed to approve the proposed combination.

Deutsche Börse AG has announced today that its shareholders have approved the planned combination with NYSE Euronext. According to the final score, 160.734.462 shares in Deutsche Börse have been tendered to be exchanged into shares of Alpha Beta Netherlands Holding N.V., the future common holding company of Deutsche Börse and NYSE Euronext. The resulting final acceptance ratio of 82.43 percent exceeds the minimum acceptance ratio of 75% (condition precedent pursuant to section 14.1 (a) of the offer document published on 4 May 2011). Deutsche Börse and NYSE Euronext have thus cleared another important hurdle on their way to combining the businesses.

ICE Trust To Transition To ICE Clear Credit Under Dodd-Frank - FCM/BD Clearing Members Added - Total CDS Cleared By ICE Exceeds $20 Trillion Milestone

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, announced today that ICE Trust U.S., ICE's North American credit default swap (CDS) clearing house, will complete its transition to a CFTC-regulated Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) and SEC-regulated Securities Clearing Agency (SCA) as required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on July 16. In addition, the clearing house will convert from a New York State Banking Department and Federal Reserve regulated bank and will be known as ICE Clear Credit.
