Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority- Finansinspektionen: Risks In The Financial System 2011

Sweden has remained relatively stable in a turbulent period but during this time the risk level in the Swedish financial system has also risen. The uncertainty in surrounding markets has meant that banks’ liquidity risks and the impact of low interest rates on life insurance undertakings remain in focus. Finansinspektionen also believes there is a risk that the sale of complex products to consumers will increase.

European Commodity Clearing To Launch Extended Cross-Margining

From 21 November 2011 European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC) will offer its clearing participants considerably increased savings potentials through cross-margining effects. To this end, ECC will use a new calculation logic based on SPAN® to determine the margin requirements. This system is used for commodity margining by a large number of exchanges and clearing houses.

Four Theme Indexes Including Shenzhen Stock Exchange Equipment Index Released Today

Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. recently announced that four SZSE series theme indexes will be released on 15 November 2011, including SZSE equipment index, SZSE real estate index, SZSE environmental protection index and SZSE commodities producer index, each with the 31 December 2004 as base day, the basis point of 1000 points.
