NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Disciplinary Committee Fines Diamyd
The Disciplinary Committee of NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB ("the Exchange") has ruled that the listed company Diamyd Medical AB ("Diamyd") on four occasions has breached the Exchange's rules and regulations governing public information and the disclosure of information to the stock market. Accordingly, Diamyd has been ordered to pay a fine of three annual fees.

Final Settlement Prices Determined For December Futures On RTS Indices
The final settlement price of the December futures contract on the RTS Index reached 176,345 points. It is calculated on the basis of the average RTS Index value for the period from 3:00 to 4:00 pm MSK (1,763.45 points as of December 15, 2010).

CME Group's Duffy To Appear At The House Agriculture Subcommittee On Farm Commodities And Risk Management

EU Watchdog Placed At The Heart Of Credit Rating Agency Supervision
The latest amendments to the rules regulating credit rating agencies (CRAs) were approved by Parliament on Wednesday. These changes were needed to effectively entrust ESMA with the direct supervision of the agencies. MEPs, with Member State support, empowered ESMA, rather than the Commission, to impose fines on CRAs.

Preqin: Although Majority Remain Opposed, Significant Minority Of Fund Managers Support Final AIFM Directive - 32% Believe Regulation Is Necessary With 31% Backing The Legislation
A Preqin survey of over 100 alternative assets fund managers and investors found that just under a third support the AIFM Directive to some extent, with firms in certain countries where the new legislation will replace more restrictive existing rules believing that it will serve to improve conditions. However, for the majority there exists significant resentment towards the Directive.

Thai Listed Firms’ Total Net Profits Of THB150 Bln., Jump 30% In Q3/2010 Vis-À-Vis A Year Earlier
Firms listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) recorded a combined net profits of THB150.65 billion (approx. USD4.85 billion), a 30.25% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise and a 17.60% quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) rise, due partly to gains on foreign exchange rates and investment.
