Thai Bourse & BMA Boost Personal Financial Skill For Youth
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) have signed a memorandum of understanding to increase the personal financial skills of over 270,000 students in all 436 BMA-supervised schools. This project, entitled the “Nguen–Tong–Kong–Mee–Ka” (“Personal Finance for Youth”) Program will start in the 2011 academic year.

Boerse Stuttgart's SME Initiative Bondm: Subscription Period Closes For RENA Bond - Placement Volume Tops The EUR 25 Million Mark
The latest bond issue from RENA GmbH was offered to investors for subscription in the segment for small and medium-sized enterprises, Bondm, from 2 December. By the time that the subscription period ended, on 14 December, bonds had been placed for a total volume of more than EUR 25 million. OTC Global Holdings Selects Orc Trader For Emissions Trading - Leading Independent Interdealer Broker Selects Orc For Its Entry Into European Markets.
Orc Software (SSE: ORC), the leading provider of technology and services for the global financial industry, today announced that OTC Europe LLP, the European arm of OTC Global Holdings, a leading independent interdealer broker in OTC commodities, has selected Orc Trader for its over-the-counter carbon options trading operations. The order was booked in Q4, 2010, and the contract is based on Orc’s licensing subscription model.

Borse Dubai Completes Refinancing Of ca. $1.1bn Loan Facility, Enabling Early Repayment Of Debt
Borse Dubai announces that it has today entered into a series of Transactions with Nasdaq OMX Group, Inc. (“NASDAQ OMX”), Nomura International Plc (“Nomura”) and Emirates NBD Bank PJSC (“Emirates NBD”) to secure a partial repayment and partial refinancing resulting, in aggregate, a ca. US$ 1.1 billion early repayment of its existing ca.US$ 2.45 billion Term Loan Facility. Emirates NBD and Nomura acted as Financial Advisers to Borse Dubai.

The Sanction Commission of SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd has issued a reprimand against Bank Coop AG for having violated the provisions of the Directive on Ad hoc Publicity in connection with the publication of the company’s 2008 annual report as well as for violating the disclosure rules under the Corporate Governance Directive within its 2008 annual report.
