Three Indices Including The Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market Profitable Quality Strategy Index Set To Launch

Recently, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) released Eight Measures on Deepening the Reform of the STAR Market to Serve Technological Innovation and the Development of New Quality Productive Forces (hereinafter referred to as the STAR Market Eight Measures), aiming at further deepening reform, enhancing inclusiveness towards new industries, new business forms, and new technologies, leveraging the functions of the capital market, and serving the overall picture of China's modernization. To implement the requirements of the STAR Market Eight Measures and continuously enrich the STAR Market index offerings, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) announced that the SSE STAR Market Profitable Quality Strategy Index, the SSE STAR Market New Drugs Index, and the SSE STAR Market Value 50 Strategy Custom Index will be released officially on August 23, 2024.

• IF2408 CSI 300 index futures contracts and the IO2408 series CSI 300 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 3342.97;
• IC2408 CSI 500 index futures contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 4673.21;
• IM2408 CSI 1000 index futures contracts and the MO2408 series CSI 1000 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 4668.79;
• IH2408 SSE 50 index futures contracts and the HO2408 series SSE 50 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 2341.42.

The SSE Releases Detailed Implementation Rules for the Placing Tranche of Initial Public Offerings in Shanghai Stock Market (2024 Revision) with New Requirement of Holding Market Value of Not Less Than RMB 6 Million in the STAR Market

Detailed Implementation Rules for the Placing Tranche of Initial Public Offerings in Shanghai Stock Market has been released and will take effect from October 1, 2024. This revision mainly adds a requirement for investors participating in offline offering business of the STAR Market to hold a market value of not less than RMB 6 million in the STAR Market.
