Program Trading Averaged 31.3 Percent Of NYSE Volume During Aug. 8-12
The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today released its weekly program-trading data compiled from member firms’ executed volume from NYSE’s orders database. The report includes trading on the NYSE for Aug. 8-12.

BM&FBOVESPA Registers Record Financial Volume In Equities Markets
BM&FBOVESPA obtained a record financial volume in its equity markets yesterday (August 17). In the BOVESPA segment (equities) the total was BRL 24,259,162,443.96. The previous record was BRL 18,437,046,217.92 on August 15, 2007.

ISE To Launch New Competitive Market Maker Trading Rights Program On September 1
The International Securities Exchange (ISE) announced that it has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to restructure its Competitive Market Maker (CMM) trading rights and will launch the new program on September 1, 2011. The new structure grants greater flexibility to current and new CMMs to select the options classes they would like to quote.

amalphi AG (ISIN: DE0008131350) was admitted to trading in Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 18 August. 1,000,000 ordinary bearer shares were included in trading at flotation. The initial listing price was €15.25.
