NASDAQ OMX Starts Trading In New China ETF From XACT Fonder
NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, part of the NASDAQ OMX Group (NASDAQ:NDAQ), today starts trading in a new exchange traded fund (ETF), XACT China (short name: XACT Kina). The new ETF issued by XACT Fonder is based on the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI), which tracks the performance of the 40 largest Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong exchange.

Clearstream To Partner With Standard Chartered Bank In Hong Kong - Standard Chartered Bank Joins Clearstream’s Network Of Cash Correspondent Banks - Cooperation Will Increase Access To Liquidity And Improve The Settlement Flexibility In The Local Market
Clearstream, the international central securities depository (ICSD) within Deutsche Börse Group, will appoint Standard Chartered Bank as a new cash correspondent bank in Hong Kong, for Hong Kong dollars and the Chinese Renminbi held outside mainland China.

New Business Model For Payment Services - Niklaus Santschi New CEO Of The Payment Services Division
SIX Group intends to position itself more clearly as a provider of all-roundpayment transaction solutions and to continue driving growth in Switzerland and Europe. To achieve this objective, the two divisions active in the field of cashless payment transactions – Multipay and Cards& Payments – are being combined at the beginning of 2012. The Board ofDirectors has appointed Niklaus Santschi CEO of the integrated division.

Statement By IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde On Central Banks Coordinated Dollar Liquidity Action
Ms. Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued the following statement today welcoming the coordinated decision by the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan and the Swiss National Bank to conduct additional U.S. dollar liquidity-providing operations through the end of 2011:
“The path to recovery needs collective action by both political leaders and central banks. What we saw today was exactly what is needed. It shows central banks will do whatever it takes to restore stability."

CFTC Charges California Resident James D. Crombie And Paron Capital Management, LLC With Making False, Fictitious, Or Fraudulent Statements To The National Futures Association - CFTC Also Charges Defendants With Solicitation Fraud
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today filed a civil lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California charging California resident James D. Crombie and his firm,Paron Capital Management, LLC (Paron), of Tiburon, Calif., with providing false, fictitious, or fraudulent statements to the National Futures Association (NFA) and with issuing fraudulent promotional materials.

August 2011 FIF Market Share And Market Dynamics Reports – Executive Summary
U.S. Equities Market Share
- Share volumes traded across Tape A, B, and C increased 74% monthly to 243 billion shares, the highest since March 2009.
- In August 2011, off-exchange trading accounted for 27% of the shares traded in NMS Equity Securities which is the lowest since February 2009.
- Share volumes in NYSE-listed securities increased 75% monthly to 133 billion shares, the highest since May 2009.
- NASDAQ-listed securities traded over exchange increased 53% monthly to 58 billion shares, the highest since October 2008.
