ISE Partners With UBS To Launch ETN Based On The ISE Cloud Computing Index
The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today announced that UBS has launched the ETRACS Monthly 2xLeveraged ISE Cloud Computing Total Return Index ETN (Ticker: LSKY). This exchange-traded note (ETN) is based on the ISE Cloud Computing Index™, a benchmark that tracks companies actively involved in the cloud computing industry. Index components include companies that are infrastructure providers for the "cloud," firms that provide goods and services in support of the cloud computing space, or technology conglomerates whose business model uses or supports cloud computing technology. LSKY began trading on NYSE Arca on October 5, 2011.

IMF Sees Latin America Facing A Range Of Challenges From Global Crisis
Despite Latin America’s generally sound macroeconomic fundamentals, the latest global economic and financial crisis presents a range of challenges, according to the International Monetary Fund’s latest Regional Economic Outlook for the Western Hemisphere. Downside risks are significant, with some countries more vulnerable than others. But growth has so far held up reasonably well in Latin America and the Caribbean, the IMF notes in Shifting Winds, New Policy Challenges, which was launched today in Lima, Perú.
