In July 2012, the total trading volume on the Natural Gas Market of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) amounted to 3,831,520 MWh which is an increase of 49 percent compared to July 2011 (2,573,289 MWh).
Trading Glitch Hits Bolsas y Mercados Españoles

A technical fault on Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) - the Spanish Stock Exchange - paralysed trading for over four hours today. The glitch halted trading shortly after 0800 GMT and trading resumed at 1250 GMT. The BME migrated to a new trading platform in April.

The value of ASX-listed stocks, as measured by the All Ordinaries Index, rose 3.7% in July 2012. This performance was below rises in other major markets, including Germany up 5.5%, Singapore up 5.5%, and stronger than Hong Kong up1.8%, the US up 1.3%, the UK up 1.2% and Japan down 3.5%.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. jointly declared on August 6, 2012 to issue two thematic indices: SZSE Consumer 50 Index (Code: 399646, Abbreviation: SZSE Consumer 50) and SZSE Health Care 50 Index (Code: 399647, Abbreviation: SZSE Health Care 50). Both indices take December 31, 2004 as the base date, and 1000 points as base point.
