Day-ahead electricity prices in Continental Europe dipped in December as mild temperatures, strong winds and stormy weather produced wind power records in Germany, France and the U.K., according to data just released by Platts, a leading global energy, petrochemicals and metals information provider.

Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listings of ETFs managed by "Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd." and "Nikko Asset Management Co., Ltd." The 2 ETFs will be listed on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. These are the first listings of ETFs tracking the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 in Japan.
