The DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection, the independent regulator set up to uphold data privacy for individuals in or from DIFC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. The memorandum outlined a mutual agreement that both parties would collaborate on a formal basis on their shared commitment to uphold and enforce data protection rights in their respective jurisdictions.

(Metrowangsa), guilty of authorising the furnishing of misleading statements to the Securities Commission (SC) in Metrowangsa’s semi-annual report from 2000 to 2001.

The Central Counterparty Of Moscow Exchange To Fulfill Obligations Of Three Banks Shut Down By The Bank Of Russia

The Bank of Russia revoked banking licenses of three banks, Investbank, Smolensky bank and Project Finance Bank, on 13 December.  National Clearing Center performing as the central counterparty on all Moscow Exchange"s markets will ensure that all banks" obligations to the counterparties will be fulfilled in full and in a timely manner.

Moscow Exchange: Settlement Date Of Certain June Derivatives To Be Changed

The Risk Working Group and the Moscow Exchange Derivatives Market Committee recommended bringing forward the date of the last trading day and settlement day of the following June derivatives to 11 June 2014:

• Gazprom ordinary shares futures (GAZR-6.14) and series of options on this futures with settlement on 13 June 2014;
• Sberbank ordinary shares futures (SBRF-6.14) and series of options on this futures with settlement on 13 June 2014.
