Intercontinental Exchange Completes Sale Of NYFIX And Metabit To ULLINK

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading global network of exchanges and clearing houses, announced today that it has completed its previously announced transaction with ULLINK for the combined sale of NYFIX and Metabit, both units of NYSE Technologies. The transaction closed on September 19 and terms were not disclosed.

Ten Thai Listed Companies Selected For Dow Jones Sustainability Indices

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announced that the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), one of the most highly regarded global sustainability indices, has included six more Thai listed companies, namely Banpu pcl (BANPU), Central Pattana pcl (CPN), IRPC pcl (IRPC), Minor International pcl (MINT), PTT Exploration and Production pcl (PTTEP), and Thai Union Frozen Products pcl (TUF), on top of the four existing Thai firms: PTT pcl (PTT), PTT Global Chemical pcl (PTTGC), Siam Cement pcl (SCC), and Thai Oil pcl (TOP), following the recent announcement of the annual DJSI review conducted by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM.

BCS Financial Group Selects Horizon Software For Market-Making And Distributing Russian Derivatives

BCS Financial Group, the largest trader in Russia for Equities, FX and Derivatives, has selectedHorizon Software to launch its derivatives market-making and distribution activities. Horizon will provide Delta One and Option Trader, its market-making platform, which includes native exchange connectivity to numerous exchanges throughout Europe. Horizon’s flexible APIs will allow the market-making platform to be seamlessly integrated into BCS Financial Group’s existing infrastructure.

Singapore Fixed Income Indices (SFI) Weekly - 22 September 2014

Below are key highlights for the week ending 19 September 2014 (please click on the attachment for further detail):
- The SFI declined 0.25% to 117.91.
- YTD, the STI currently outperforms the SFI by 1.85%.
- The SFI Government Bond Index fell 0.31%, its third consecutive week of decline. MTD, the index is down 1.65%.
- Amidst a general decline in the SFI suite, the SFI Industrial Bond Index was resilient, reaching an all-time high (128.62) on Wednesday before closing the week at 128.47.
- The SFI Industrial Bond Index is currently represented by 87 constituents with a combined market value of over S$12 billion. Interest yield for the index is at 4.08%, one of the highest within the SFI suite (SFI: 2.89%).

Monetary Authority Of Singapore: Public Consultation On Proposed Regulations To Help Financial Institutions Comply With US FATCA

1 The Ministry of Finance (MOF), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) have proposed regulations to help financial institutions in Singapore comply with the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). FATCA requires all financial institutions outside of the US to regularly submit information on financial accounts held by US persons to the US Internal Revenue Service, or face a 30% withholding tax on certain gross payments received from the US.
