  • Announcement On Distribution Of The Amendments To Hot-Rolled Coil Contract Specifications Of The Shanghai Futures Exchange

    In oder to carry out the spirits rasied from the national securities and futures regulatory meeting, promote futures market’s function, better serve the real ecomony, and meet the needs of investors, the Exchange hereby makes amendments to the Hot-rolled Coil Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange. The amended Hot-rolled Coil Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange is reviewed and adopted at the interim meeting of the2nd  Board of Directors of the Exchange and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

    NZX welcomes the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal (the Tribunal) Annual Report published today which includes analysis of cases heard and decisions made by the Tribunal in 2014, and a summary of matters considered by the Special Division of the Tribunal.

  • CME Group Statement: Navinder Singh Sarao Case

    CME Group today released the following statement in response to the Navinder Singh Sarao case:

    Nothing is more important to CME Group than the integrity of our marketplace.  Following the Flash Crash on May 6, 2010, together with other regulators, we did a thorough analysis of all activity in our markets during the Flash Crash, and concluded - along with regulators - that the Flash Crash was not caused by the futures market.  If new information has come to light, we look forward to reviewing it with the Commission.  We fully support the CFTC's actions to prosecute those who attempt to engage in fraud or manipulation.  We are prohibited by law from releasing information about any individual's trading behavior, including Mr. Sarao's, so we are unable to comment further at this time.
