The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced fraud charges against a former professional football player and others, alleging they operated a Ponzi scheme that raised more than $31 million from investors who were promised profits from loans to professional athletes.

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR) announced today that the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has authorised Accenture Post-Trade Processing Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Accenture, for the provision of post-trade processing services. Accenture Post-Trade Processing offers these services in collaboration with Broadridge.

Patience May Be A Virtu - Virtu Financial To Resume IPO, With USD2.5B Valuation

Virtu Financial on Monday outlined plans to go public later this month. In a filing with the SEC, Virtu said that it plans to raise up to USD314 million at a valuation of about USD2.6 billion. Virtu postponed its first attempt to go public last year amid a furore over high-frequency trading, following the release of Michael Lewis' book "Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt".
