Shareholders at this year's UBS Group AG Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Basel will for the first time be able to decide on compensation for members of the Board of Directors (BoD) and Group Executive Board (GEB). In addition, Helmut Panke will step down from the BoD. Jes Staley will be nominated for election to the BoD.

A Swiss citizen and former asset manager at a Swiss asset management firm pleaded guilty to conspiring with U.S. taxpayer-clients and others to help U.S. taxpayers hide millions of dollars in offshore accounts from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and to evade U.S. taxes on the income earned in those accounts, the Justice Department announced.

The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has issued a cease trade order against Exall Energy Corporation. The cease trade order was issued after ASC staff determined that Exall Energy failed to disclose, in accordance with Alberta securities laws, that it had entered into receivership and that its board of directors had resigned.  

MIAX Options - April 1, 2015 Fee Changes - Amendment To The Priority Customer Rebate Tiers, Market Maker Trading Permit And MEI Port Fees (UPDATED 03/31/15)

Effective April 1, 2015, pending SEC approval, the MIAX Options Fee Schedule will be amended as follows:

• The Priority Customer Rebate Program will be amended to reflect adjustments to the percentage thresholds of national customer volume required in all Tiers.
• The MIAX Market Maker Trading Permit symbol assignment tiers and associated fees will be amended.
• The MEI Port and engine connectivity tiers and associate fees will be amended.

Through advertising, social media, and targeted outreach, the CFTC will urge investors to visit SmartCheck.gov during SmartCheckSM Week and to make this part of a routine step when considering a new financial professional and with established advisors.
