MIAX Options -MIAX ORder Feed (MOR) - Available April 21, 2015

The MIAX Options Exchange will make available the MIAX ORder (MOR) feed beginning April 21, 2015.  MOR provides a real-time order information feed for all symbols listed on the MIAX  simple order book.   MOR provides subscribers the limit price, size and origin for each order on the MIAX simple order book.

MIAX has filed for immediate effectiveness with the Securities and Exchange Commission to modify Exchange Rule 500, Access to and Conduct on the Exchange, to authorize the Exchange to share any Member-designated risk settings in the MIAX System directly with such Member’s Clearing Member.

Fort Worth Regional Director David Woodcock To Leave SEC

On Tuesday, April 14, WHUB locational marginal pricing during the day’s on-peak period was significantly higher than expected, as the market had been trading below $40.00/MWh as late as 8:40 AM ET. Most notably on this expensive day, was the ratio of congestion costs to energy costs. Genscape’s blog post, “Emergency Transmission Outage Drives Volatility in PJM,” explains that marginal congestion costs were almost equal to energy costs.
