U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Jacob J. Lew today sent a letter to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch and Ranking Member Ron Wyden supporting Congress’ commitment to address unfair currency practices around the world and stating that he would recommend the President veto legislation with a currency amendment that would jeopardize our ability to protect the U.S. economy.

Finansinspektionen - Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority: Nordea Receives A Warning And Is Ordered To Pay SEK 50 Million

There have been major deficiencies in Nordea's work to prevent money laundering. This means there is a high probability that if people have tried to launder money or finance terrorism that they could have done so without Nordea having been able to detect this. Nordea is therefore receiving a warning and is ordered to pay the maximum administrative fine of SEK 50 million.

MIAX Options Exchange - Amendment To The PRIME™ Allocation For Certain Initiating Side Orders Increased From 40% To 50%, Effective May 20, 2015

MIAX has filed for immediate effectiveness to amend Exchange Rule 515A, MIAX Price Improvement Mechanism (“PRIME”), to increase the trade allocation entitlement of a Member that initiates a PRIME auction (an “Initiating Member”) from 40% to 50% when only one competing participant matches such Initiating Member’s auto-match submission at the final price level.
