    In the latest month, trading volume averaged $380.3 billion per day, in line with November but up 22% from December 2014. The year-over-year increase was driven entirely by increased trading of interest rate products. Both foreign exchange and credit trading were down year-over-year.

    The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has cancelled the Technology Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, 2016 due to weather related conditions in the Washington Metropolitan area. The meeting will be rescheduled for a date that will be announced.

  • Börse Frankfurt Extends Bond Trading Hours

    The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is expanding its bond trading services. With effect from 1 February 2016, bonds will be tradable via the Börse Frankfurt venue from the earlier time of 8 a.m. until 5.30 p.m., rather than the previous 9 a.m. start.
