On 1 June 2016, HLDCO123 PLC, London, United Kingdom, (the “Bidder“) has published the offer document for its voluntary public takeover offer in the form of an exchange offer (“Takeover Offer“) to the shareholders of Deutsche Börse Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main (“Deutsche Börse“), to acquire all no-par value registered shares in Deutsche Börse (ISIN DE0005810055) (“Deutsche   Börse   Shares“)    for   a   consideration   of   one   (1)   share   of   the   Bidder (ISIN GB00BYMYCZ62) for one (1) Deutsche Börse Share, except for certain Japanese Deutsche Börse shareholders excluded from the Takeover Offer. As a result of the amendment of the Takeover Offer made on 11 July 2016, the acceptance period for the Takeover Offer has been extended by two weeks and, therefore, expires on 26 July 2016, 24:00 hours (CEST), unless it is extended again pursuant to the applicable rules under the WpÜG.

DTCC-Euroclear GlobalCollateral Ltd, a joint venture (JV) of Euroclear and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), today announced that Northern Trust, one of the world’s largest fund administrators, will implement GlobalCollateral’s Settlement Messaging Service. The adoption of the service will streamline Northern Trust’s margin call process, increase transparency through automated collateral settlement tracking, enhance client service and improve custodian communications.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has revealed its achievements in the first half with the returns and liquidity reaching number one in ASEAN. Despite the global market volatility, foreign investors bought net in Thai stocks at THB 35.98 billion (USD 1.02 billion), considered highest in ASEAN. SET also forecast a robust initial public offering (IPO) in the second half and plan to introduce “sSET Index” which represents the price movement of the mid and small common stocks as well as “TFEX Gold-D,” an electronic gold futures trading with physical delivery.
