EBA Publishes 2016 EU-Wide Stress Test Results

• From a starting point of 13.2% CET1, the stress test demonstrates the resilience of the EU banking sector to an adverse scenario with an impact of 380 bps CET1 on average

• The stress test does not contain a pass/fail threshold. It will instead inform supervisors'  ongoing review of banks and guide their efforts to maintain capital in the system and support the ongoing repair of balance sheets

• Exceptional transparency is provided, with over 16 000 data points per bank, to foster market discipline

MIAX Options Exchange: Modification Of Certain Electronic Blue Sheet Data Elements

MIAX and the other U.S. members of the Intermarket Surveillance Group (ISG members) have modified certain equity and option data elements for Electronic Blue Sheets (EBS), which will become effective on December 30, 2016. MIAX and the other ISG members are modifying certain equity data elements to be consistent with NYSE Regulation Information Memorandum Number 16-2 and NYSE Arca Equities Regulatory Bulletin Number 16-39.

Intercontinental Exchange Announces Agreement For The Sale Of The Voice Brokerage Operations Of Creditex To Tullett Prebon

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges, clearing houses and data services, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell certain U.S. voice brokerage operations of Creditex to Tullett Prebon, one of the world’s leading interdealer brokers. ICE will retain the electronically traded markets and systems, post-trade connectivity platforms and intellectual property of Creditex, which serves the global credit default swaps (CDS) market. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to FINRA approval.
