Net income increased 13% and adjusted earnings† rose 17% compared to the same period in 2015 driven by continued growth in non-transaction revenue.

  • EBA: Consultation On Guidelines On Authorisation And Registration Under PSD2 (EBA-CP-2016-18)

    The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a consultation on its draft Guidelines specifying the information to be provided by applicants intending to obtain authorisation as payment and electronic money institutions as well as to register as account information service providers under the revised Payment Service Directive (PSD2).These Guidelines are in support of the objective of PSD2 of strengthening an integrated payments market across the European Union, ensuring a consistent application of the legislative framework, and promoting equal conditions for competition. The consultation runs until 3 February 2017.

    As part of the Capital Market Authority's ("CMA") continuous efforts to develop the capital market, regulate the issuance of securities and monitor securities and dealing in securities, and regulate and monitor the works and activities of parties subject to the control and supervision of the Authority. and based on the Capital Market Law issued by the Royal Decree Number (M/30) Dated 2/6/1424 H, the CMA Board has issued its Resolution which includes publishing the draft Second Market Listing Rules ("the Rules") on CMA’s website (indicated below) to enable concerned and interested parties to provide their comments and observations until 14/2/1438H (corresponding to 14/11/2016G).
