The European Energy Exchange (EEX) welcomes Belektron d.o.o. as a new Market Maker on the Derivatives Market for Emission Allowances. Since January 2015, Belektron has been active as a Market Maker on the EUA Spot Market and has provided buy and sell orders on the EUA Futures Market since the beginning of this month.

The board of directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) decided in its meeting on Thursday (August 4, 2016) to launch US Dollar weekly options. Weekly TA-25 Index options were introduced by TASE in 2013 and their trading volumes are constantly on the rise. The average daily volume of such options was approx. 12,000 in 2013 and currently exceeds 50,000.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has today fined Cenkos Securities plc (Cenkos) £530,500 for failures in its sponsor services business. Cenkos failed to have appropriate systems and controls in place across its sponsor services business, and, on a particular transaction, failed to act in its sponsor role with the level of diligence and professional care that the FCA expects.

The Financial Services Board (the FSB) of the Republic of South Africa and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) signed a landmark Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to enable greater collaboration on regulatory matters and facilitate the exchange of information to promote the robustness and maintain the integrity of the financial industries in both countries. The agreement was signed by Advocate Dube Tshidi, Executive Officer of the Financial Services Board (the FSB) of the Republic of South Africa, and Mr. Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).
