EBA Seeks Views On How To Review The Maturity Ladder For Liquidity Reporting

The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today for consultation a proposal to review its Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on additional monitoring metrics for liquidity, which mainly consists of reintroducing a maturity ladder in line with the reporting requirements laid down in the Commission's Delegated Act on the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR). These revised ITS aim at providing Competent Authorities with harmonised information on institutions' liquidity risk profile, taking into account the nature, scale and complexity of their activities. The consultation runs until 2 January 2017.

The Staff of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today issued a report detailing the results of a supervisory stress test of major clearinghouses. The purpose of the analysis was to assess the impact of a hypothetical set of extreme but plausible market scenarios across multiple clearinghouses and their clearing members.

Thomson Reuters today announced the launch of the Thomson Reuters Pricing Service Evaluation Score (“TRPS Score”), a measure of the level of incorporated market color in any given TRPS evaluated price. The TRPS Score incorporates known information associated with an investment instrument’s evaluation, ranging from the level of available market data to the individual attributes of the issue, based on a measurement scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the maximum score.

International Commodities And Derivatives Association Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With The China Futures Association

The International Commodities and Derivatives Association, (‘ICDA’), represented by Daniel Day-Robinson, Chairman, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Futures Association (‘CFA’), represented by Mr Mingwei Wang, Chairman of CFA. The signing ceremony, took place during ICDA’s 2016 Bürgenstock conference, which hosts the world’s oldest meeting of international regulators in private session. The Memorandum envisages wide-ranging co-operation between the two associations to include training and global advocacy.

European Parliament - Money Market Funds: Breakthrough Agreement Between MEPs And Slovak Presidency
