Deutsche Boerse CEO Says Work On London Stock Exchange Group Merger Continues

Speaking today at the London School of Economics German Symposium 2017, Deutsche Boerse Chief Executive Officer Carsten Kengeter said it was continuing preparations for a merger with the London Stock Exchange Group, despite the LSEG's refusal to sell its Italian MTS trading platform.

Trading value in the equity market (BOVESPA segment) totaled BRL 165.23 billion in February, compared with BRL 144.33 billion in the previous month. Average daily trading value was BRL 9.17 billion, versus BRL 6.87 billion in January. Total volume amounted to 18,609,157 shares, compared with 18,954,467 shares in the previous month. Average daily volume was 1,033,842 shares (902,594 shares in January).

AIXTRON SE To Be Included In TecDAX - Deutsche Börse Reviews Index Composition - Changes To Be Effective As Of 20 March 2017

On Friday, Deutsche Börse announced changes to its selection indices, which will become effective on 20 March 2017. The shares of AIXTRON SE will be included in the TecDAX index and will replace the shares of STRATEC Biomedical AG. The inclusion of AIXTRON SE is based on the fast entry rule; the company is eligible for the index inclusion due to its market capitalisation and order book turnover. For AIXTRON SE this is a return to TecDAX, the company left the index in December 2016 due to low market capitalisation.
