Euronext Announces Volumes For October 2017

Euronext, the leading pan-European exchange in the Eurozone, today announced trading volumes for October 2017.

EEX: New Monthly Record In Dairy Derivatives

In October 2017, the volume traded in EEX dairy product futures reached a new monthly record. In total, a volume of 14,140 tonnes (equivalent to 2,828 contracts) was traded which is more than 4 times the volume in October 2016 (3,490 tonnes, equals 698 contracts). The total monthly volume included 6,030 tonnes traded in butter futures, 7,285 tonnes traded in skimmed milk powder futures and 825 tonnes traded in whey powder futures. The previous monthly record on the derivatives market for dairy products was registered in June 2017 (2,668 contracts).

Monetary Authority Of Singapore And China's Securities Regulator Agree To Strengthen Supervisory Cooperation And Facilitate Market Development

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) agreed to strengthen supervisory cooperation and facilitate the development of their capital markets, during the 2nd MAS-CSRC Supervisory Roundtable held in Singapore on 31 October 2017.

Eurex Enhances Its Market Structure

The international derivatives marketplace Eurex, part of Deutsche Börse Group, enhances its market structure to address industry trends and further meet its member’s needs. In Q4, Europe’s largest derivatives exchange will launch an electronic price discovery platform that allows bank’s broker desks and inter dealer brokers to contact market makers with request for quotes in order to find a counterpart to a trading interest. Initially, the service will be available for fixed-income and money market derivatives, but other asset classes will be added soon.

HKEX: Exchange Seeks Views On A Review Of The Corporate Governance Code And Related Rules, And Proposed Changes To Documentary Requirements And Other Minor Rule Amendments

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Launching The Investor Services In Western Regions

To boost investor education and protection in western regions, and to meet the new requirements in the capital market in the new era to balance development between regions, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) together with Guizhou Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission (“Guizhou CSRC”), China Securities Investor Services Center and Guizhou Securities Association initiated the activities of Investor Services in Western Regions in Guiyang recently. The Department of Investor Protection of CSRC, the host and organizing units, relevant market institutions and 300 local investors were present at the opening ceremony.
