Deutsche Börse draws a positive interim balance of its SME segment Scale, which was launched exactly one year ago. The number of shares listed in Scale has since risen to 49, with five of these companies joining the segment via an IPO.

DGCX Records Its Best Month Since Inception With 67% Growth In Volume

Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) continued its record-breaking start to the year while delivering its best month since inception. Last month, the Exchange traded its highest monthly Volume of 2,097,739 contracts, valued at USD 47.03 billion, recording 67% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth.

US Justice Department: Deloitte & Touche Agrees To Pay $149.5 Million To Settle Claims Arising From Its Audits Of Failed Mortgage Lender Taylor, Bean & Whitaker

The Justice Department announced today that Deloitte & Touche LLP has agreed to pay the United States $149.5 million to resolve potential False Claims Act liability arising from Deloitte’s role as the independent outside auditor of Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp. (TBW), a failed originator of mortgage loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
