Thank you for that kind introduction, Julie. I appreciate the invitation to deliver remarks this morning. It is a special honor to be part of your 50th annual conference.

I am especially pleased to be making my first visit to Denver while serving as an SEC Commissioner. One of the benefits of being here is that I will have the chance to meet with staff from the SEC’s Denver office later today. Our regional offices play a critical role in carrying out the SEC’s mission. Having talented and dedicated enforcement, inspection, and examination staff on the ground throughout the country is essential to our ability to fulfill our responsibilities. ETFGI Reports ETFs And ETPs Listed In The US Gathered 28 Billion US Dollars In Net Inflows In April

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that ETFs and ETPs listed in the US gathered US$28.00 billion net inflows during April 2018, after suffering net outflows of US$10.60 Bn in February and US$2.56 Bn in March, according to ETFGI’s April 2018 US ETF and ETP industry landscape  insights report. Year-to-date net inflows into US listed ETFs/ETPs reached US$93.22 Bn at the end of April which is significantly less than the US$169.71 compare to this point last year. Vullo today announced that the New York State Department of Financial Services has authorized Gemini Trust Company, LLC to offer the custody services and trading of Zcash, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, emerging cryptocurrencies, on its virtual currency exchange based in New York City. Cryptocurrencies are alternative decentralized global digital currencies that provide users with a more secure and efficient means of payment.
