• Minister of Finance: The program contributes to the development of the financial sector and enhances its effectiveness, in line with Vision 2030.
• SAMA Governor: The program seeks to build an advanced financial infrastructure, develop a thriving insurance sector and improve the capabilities  and skills of our people.
• CMA Chairman: The program will place the Kingdom's financial market amongst the largest  markets globally.
• CMA Deputy Chairman: An independent National Savings Entity will be created to offer government-backed retail savings products.

Closure Of Bursa Malaysia In Conjunction With The Special Public Holidays

Bursa Malaysia Berhad and its subsidiaries will be closed on Thursday, 10 May 2018 and Friday, 11 May 2018, in conjunction with the special public holidays as announced by Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.

TMX Group Limited Increases Dividend To $0.58 Per Common Share

The Board of Directors of TMX Group Limited today declared a dividend of $0.58 on each common share outstanding, an increase in $0.08 or 16%, from the previous $0.50 per common share. This dividend is payable on June 8, 2018 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 25, 2018.

RBS Agrees In Principle Settlement With The US Department Of Justice Regarding US RMBS Investigation

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (together with its subsidiaries, “RBS”) today announces that it has reached a civil settlement in principle with the US Department of Justice (“DoJ”) to resolve its investigation into RBS’s issuance and underwriting of US residential mortgage-backed securities (“RMBS”) between 2005 and 2007.

At the end of the settlement date of April 30, 2018, short interest in 2,336 Nasdaq Global Market^SM securities totaled 7,180,931,585 shares compared with 7,225,723,436 shares in 2,332 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of April 13, 2018. The end-of-April short interest represents 4.56 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.68 days for the prior reporting period.

I’m delighted to be here today among so many friends and colleagues, and I extend my thanks to the New York City Bar for hosting this important event. Because New York plays such a pivotal role in our financial system, members of the New York City Bar have long taken a leading role in many of the most significant securities and white collar matters. And the City Bar has been a key forum for education and dialogue about these important issues. I am honored to join today’s distinguished group of speakers, panelists, and attendees.
