Minutes Of The Meeting Of The US Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee Of The Securities Industry And Financial Markets Association July 31

The Committee convened in a closed session at the Hay-Adams Hotel at 9:00 a.m. All members were present. Counselor to the Secretary Craig Phillips, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets Clay Berry, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Federal Finance Laura Lipscomb, Director of the Office of Debt Management Fred Pietrangeli, and Deputy Director of the Office of Debt Management Nick Steele welcomed the Committee. Other members of Treasury staff present were Chris Cameron, Dave Chung, Tom Katzenbach, Dave Monroe, Peter Phelan, Brian Smith, Renee Tang, and Brandon Taylor. Federal Reserve Bank of New York staff members Nathaniel Wuerffel, Susan McLaughlin, Rania Perry, and Jake Schurmeier were also present.

Nasdaq Nordic And Baltic Markets Trading Statistics July 2018

Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today publishes monthly trade statistics for the Nordic and Baltic markets. Below follows a summary of the statistics for July 2018:
- The share trading decreased by 9.6% to a daily average of 2.681bn EUR, compared to 2.965bn EUR in July 2017. Compared to the previous month, June 2018, the daily average decreased by 16.9%.
- Cleared derivatives volume increased by 1.1% to a daily average of 332,744 contracts, compared with 329,196 contracts in July 2017.
- ETF trading (Exchange Traded Funds) decreased by 20.2% to a daily average of 20.1m EUR compared to 25.2m EUR in July 2017.
- Nokia Oyj was the most traded stock per day during the past month, followed by Novo Nordisk A/S.
- Morgan Stanley Int. Plc was the most active member during the past month, followed by Deutsche Bank AG.
- Nasdaq Nordic’s share of order-book trading in our listed stocks decreased to 65.0%, compared to 66.3% previous month.

Deutsche Börse: Extended Trading Hours For Certificates Well Received - Cash Markets’ Turnover In July €124.3 Billion

Since 22 June 2018, investors can trade certificates and warrants on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (formerly 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.). The number of trades in the extended trading hours corresponds to a share of around 7 percent of total order flow after trades and therefore exceeded expectations.

ACER Consults On The Compliance Of The Fallback Procedures Proposed By The TSOs Of The Core Region With The CACM Regulation

The Agency launches today a public consultation on the compliance of the amended TSOs’ proposal for the Fallback Procedures of the Core region with the Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM Regulation). EEX Achieves Significant Increases In Power Derivatives, Emissions And Agriculturals

In July 2018, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) increased volumes on its power derivatives markets by 46% to 213.8 TWh (July 2017: 146,2 TWh). On the Spanish power market, volumes exceeded the mark of 10 TWh for the first time, doubling last year’s volume (10.6 TWh, July 2017: 4.3 TWh). Furthermore, the markets for France (18.2 TWh, +18%) and Italy (37.3 TWh, +70%), in particular, developed positively. In Phelix-DE Futures, trading volumes amounted to 128.7 TWh which is clearly above the total July volume in 2017 in the products for the German market (Phelix-DE and Phelix-DE/AT in July 2017: 98.1 TWh).
