  • Amman Stock Exchange: Non-Jordanian Ownership In Companies Listed Reached 50.5%

    The value of shares that were bought by non-Jordanian investors at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) in July 2019 was JD 26.9 million, representing 18.0% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD 30.5 million. As a result, the net of non-Jordanian investments in July 2019 showed a decrease by JD 3.6 million, compared with an increase by JD 30.0 million during the same month of 2018.

    The Seminar on Publicizing Futures Knowledge in Universities is held in Beijing on July 24. The seminar is hosted by Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE). Attending the seminar are representatives from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Ministry of Education (MOE), futures exchanges, futures associations, futures companies, and 83 teachers from 48 universities. The representatives present share their experience in futures talent cultivation in universities, discuss the significance and development approach of publicizing futures knowledge in universities and reach consensuses.

  • Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market IPO Review Of Relevant Companies Terminated By Law

    After the first batch of companies was listed and their shares traded on the SSE STAR Market, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) continues to advance the review of issuance and listing in an orderly manner. Recently, four companies and their sponsors filed with the SSE for withdrawing their applications and sponsorships for issuance and listing on the SSE STAR Market successively. According to Article 67 of the SSE Rules for Issuance and Listing Review of Stocks on the SSE STAR Market, the SSE decided to terminate the review of the companies for issuance and listing on the SSE STAR Market. The four applicants are Beijing Papaya Mobile Technology Co., Ltd., Hejian Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Beijing NKD Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Beijing Speechocean Technology Co., Ltd.
