The Securities and Commodities Authority (“SCA”), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”) of the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (“FSRA”) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (“ADGM”) announced today that they had reached agreement on facilitating the licensing of domestic funds by each authority for promotion across the UAE.

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ETFs and ETPs listed globally gathered net inflows of US$1.06 Bn during October. Total assets invested ESG ETFs and ETPs fell 2.91% from US$22.5 Bn at the end of September, to US$21.85 Bn, according to ETFGI’s October 2018 ETF and ETP ESG industry landscape insights report, a new annual paid-for research subscription service. Shenzhen Stock Exchange Issues The High-Ratio Bonus Issue And Stock Dividend Distribution Guidelines To Continuously Improve Basic System Construction

On November 23, SZSE officially issued the Information Disclosure Guidelines for the High-Ratio Bonus Issue and Stock Dividend Distribution of Listed Companies (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines) and amended relevant announcement formats. The Guidelines came into effect on the date of promulgation. It is not applicable to the already disclosed plans of high-ratio bonus issue and stock dividend distribution. This is SZSE's another important measure to continuously regulate listed companies' information disclosure, improve the basic system of the capital market, promote listed companies' quality and guide the market to return to value investment.

As part of the initiatives outlined under its strategic plan, and after having conferred with the financial markets operating in the country, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) held a series of consultations with a number of leading government institutions to implement an initiative that aims to find innovative solutions to finance pioneering enterprises, such as creating channels through which such enterprises can access the capital markets operating in the country and make use of the financing methods available, given the role that these enterprises play in achieving sustainable development.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Seeks Public Opinions On The Implementation Rules On Share Repurchase To Vigorously Support The Law-Based Compliant Share Repurchase Of Listed Companies

Recently, SZSE sought the market opinions on the Implementation Rules of Shenzhen Stock Exchange on the Share Repurchase of Listed Companies (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Rules) . This is SZSE's powerful move to implement the spirit of national rules and regulations, such as the NPC Standing Committee's decision on amending Company Law, the CSRC, Ministry of Finance and SASAC's Opinions on Supporting the Share Repurchase of Listed Companies, and the CSRC's Notice on Earnestly Studying and Implementing the Standing Committee of National People's Congress' Decision on Amending the Company Law of the People's Republic of China, to perfect relevant supporting systems in a timely manner, and to practically respond to market demands in an aim to support and standardize the law-based share repurchase of listed companies.

Good morning everyone.
Thank you to the Australian Securitisation Forum for inviting me to speak today.
Today I will talk to you about three topics:
- First, I’ll make some general comments about responsible lending and its implications for investors in residential mortgage-backed securities.
- Second, I’ll share an update on some of ASIC's recent initiatives to improve the underwriting standards of residential loans and other consumer credit, and how this affects investors.
- Third, I’ll finish by sharing some observations about the current regulatory environment and what we might expect in the future.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange And China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Sign A Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On November 23, 2018, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the SZSE) and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CSIC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The signing of this agreement is an important measure of the two sides conscientiously implementing the 19th CPC National Congress’s resolution on promoting the strategy of military-civilian integrated development and deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises. Hu Wenming, Party Secretary and Chairman of CSIC, and Wu Lijun, Party Secretary and board director of the SZSE, attended the signing ceremony.
