The 14th Futures Conference Shenzhen Stock Exchange Session Successfully Held

From December 1st to 2nd, 2018, the 14th China (Shenzhen) International Futures Conference was held in Shenzhen. Its SZSE Session, themed with "Diversified Subjects to Jointly Boost the Opening-up and Development of Options Market", was held on December 2nd. The SZSE Vice President & CEO Wang Hong attended the conference and addressed at the SZSE Session.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency today advised national banks in a proclamation that under federal law they may close their offices Wednesday (December 5, 2018), at their discretion, in any state in which the governor or other authorized official has declared a legal holiday in recognition of the National Day of Mourning for President George H. W. Bush.

Nadex To Close US Indices Contracts On December 5, 2018 In Observance Of The National Day Of Mourning

In observance of the passing President George H.W. Bush on the National Day of Mourning on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, and to conform with the listing schedule of the underlying markets upon which certain Nadex contracts are based, Nadex will refrain from listing all Daily and Intraday US Indices contracts (US 500, US SmallCap 2000, US Tech 100, and Wall Street 30) on trade date December 5, 2018.   Additionally, Nadex will close trading in its Weekly US Indices contracts on trade date December 5, 2018, commencing at 9:30am ET.  All contracts will resume their regular listing schedule at 6:00pm ET on the evening of December 5 for trade date December 6, 2018.  This change will not affect the listing schedule of any non-US Index contract.

Ibovespa Breaks New Record And Reaches 89.820 Points

B3’s main stock market performance index – Ibovespa – hit a record high today ending the day at 89,820 points, up 0,35%  from last trading session. The previous Ibovespa record of 89,709 points was recorded on November 29^th, 2018.

CFTC Allows Additional UK Multilateral Trading Facilities To Operate Without CFTC Registration As Exempt SEFs

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today issued an amended order that will allow an additional four multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) authorized within the European Union (EU) to be exempted from the requirement to register with the CFTC as swap execution facilities (SEFs).

MIAX Options will extend the cut-off time for submitting contrary intensions to 10:00 AM Eastern Time on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, for series expiring on December 5, 2018.
