PEGAS Trading Volumes In November 2018 - PEGAS Reports Strong Spot Volumes In November Including A Record-Breaking Month On TTF

PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by Powernext, reported its best monthly volume in 2018 with 193.3 TWh traded in November. Once again, the spot segment posted a strong activity with 103.9 TWh, including the highest traded volume on PEGAS TTF Spot with 42.1 TWh (previous record: 41.3 TWh in March 2018).

CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, reached average daily volume (ADV) of 21.7 million contracts per day in November 2018, up 21 percent from November 2017. Open interest at the end of November was 128 million contracts, up 4 percent from November 2017 and up 19 percent from year-end 2017.

ACER Consults On The Amendments Of The Proposal For Common Capacity Calculation Methodology For The Core Region

The Agency launches today a public consultation on the amendments of common capacity calculation methodology (CCM) proposed by Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia - (the Core capacity calculation region). The CCM calculates the electrical capacity that can be offered across the borders of those thirteen Member States to the market in the Day-Ahead and Intraday timeframe.
