BNP Paribas Lists Two Green Structured Products On Nasdaq Stockholm

Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) today announced that BNP Paribas SA has listed its first two green structured products on the Nasdaq Nordic Sustainable Debt Market. The instruments are listed in the recently launched segment for green structured products, and are distributed to the Swedish retail market in collaboration with Strukturinvest.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Corn Options To Be Listed On January 28

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held a press conference on January 4 to announce its approval of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) carrying out corn options trading as of January 28, 2019. It marks the further enrichment of the Chinese agricultural product options after soybean meal and white sugar.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange December 2018 Market Summary And 2018 Annual Update - TOCOM December 2018 Volume Averaged 84,488 Contracts, Up 1.4% MoM

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange announced today that December 2018 average daily volume was 84,488 contracts, up 1.4% from November. Volume increased for TOCOM’s most active contracts, such as the Dubai Crude Oil contract, which grew 5.6% month-over-month to 21,839 contracts and 23.8% year-over-year. Platinum Standard increased 7.3% m-o-m to 10,222 contracts but shrunk 8.9% y-o-y. RSS3 Rubber was up 49.5% m-o-m to 8,589 contracts and 27.2% y-o-y. Finally, the Gold Standard contract decreased 10.0% m-o-m to 26,927 contracts and grew 2.6% y-o-y.

Happy New Year. I am very glad to be speaking to you here in New York, a city I lived and worked in for 30 years before joining the Federal Reserve Board in September. The new year is often a time when people make resolutions--resolutions to exercise more, learn a new skill, or spend more quality time with family and friends. My resolution, as a member of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), is to work with my colleagues to implement a monetary policy that will sustain economic growth and maximum employment at levels consistent with our 2 percent inflation objective.
