  • ACER To Decide On The Methodology For Coordinated Redispatching And Countertrading For Bulgaria, Greece And Romania

    The National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) for energy of Bulgaria, Greece and Romania have recently referred to the Agency the proposal of the Electricity Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of the South East Europe Capacity Calculation Region (SEE CCR) for developing the methodology for Coordinated Redispatching and Countertrading as mandated by the EU Regulation establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management. The Agency will take a Decision on the proposal by 11 August 2019.

    The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has today announced the appointment of Wanda Goldwag as the new Chair of the independent Financial Services Consumer Panel. The appointment, effective from 1 March 2019 for an initial three-year term, has been confirmed by HM Treasury.

  • Dalian Commodity Exchange Adopts HSBC As 1st Foreign Depository Bank

    Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) issues a notice on its official website on January 29, 2019, that HSBC Bank (China) Co., Ltd. becomes its designated futures margin depository bank upon examination. It is permitted to engage in the margin depository business for overseas clients. This is the first time that DCE ushers in a foreign bank as its futures margin depository bank after its internationalization. HSBC is the 12th bank approved by DCE to engage in the margin depository business for overseas clients.
