Nadex Adds Gold And Crude Oil Touch Bracket (“Knockout”) Contracts

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and section §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commission under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commission on March 6, 2020 its intent to list Touch Bracket (also known as “Knockout”) Contracts, to its listing of Gold and Crude Oil products. This self-certification will become effective March 23, 2020.

New York Governor Cuomo Announces New Directive Requiring New York Insurers To Waive Cost-Sharing For Coronavirus Testing - Currently All COVID-19 Tests Conducted At The State's Wadsworth Lab Are Fully Covered - New Yorkers Receiving Medicaid Coverage Will Not Be Expected To Pay A Co-Pay For Any Testing Related To COVID-19 - Outlines Series Of Other Actions That Health Insurers Should Take, Including Keeping New Yorkers Informed About Available Benefits And Offering Telehealth Medical Advice And Treatment

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced a new directive by the State Department of Financial Services requiring New York health insurers to waive cost sharing associated with testing for novel coronavirus including emergency room, urgent care and office visits. The Governor also announced New Yorkers receiving Medicaid coverage will not be expected to pay a co-pay for any testing related to COVID-19. These actions will help ensure that cost does not serve as a barrier to access to COVID-19 testing for any New Yorker. Currently all COVID-19 tests being conducted at the State's Wadsworth Lab are fully covered.

Nadex Amends US Tech 100 Call Spread Strike Width

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and section §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commission under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commission on March 6, 2020 its intent to amend the strike widths in its US Tech 100 Daily, 8.25-Hour Intraday, and 2-Hour Intraday Call Spread Contracts. This self-certification and Rule amendments will become effective March 23, 2020.

US Federal Agencies Invite Comment On Updates To Resolution Plan Guidance For Large Foreign Banks

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Federal Reserve Board on Friday invited public comment on proposed changes to the guidance for resolution plans submitted by large foreign banks, including plans that are due by July 1, 2021. The updates focus on the agencies' expectations around a firm's derivatives and trading activities and payment, clearing, and settlement activities.

EEX Achieves Hat-Trick Of Daily Trading Records In Dairy Futures

On Wednesday, 4th March 2020, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) achieved a record day in its Dairy segment with a total of 5,475 tonnes of goods equivalent being traded in EEX dairy futures (1,095 contracts). This is the first time the 1,000-contracts-a-day level has ever been exceeded in Europe since the launch of on-exchange dairy price risk management instruments back in 2010. New record daily highs on the futures markets for butter and skimmed milk powder futures contributed to this performance.
