KDPW And StaBillon Become Partners In The CSDonDLT Project

KDPW has signed a cooperation agreement with StaBillon (majority owned by Billon Group Ltd) which will be the provider of universal digital Polish Zloty in the CSDonDLT project enabling the settlement of OTC transactions using blockchain. The integration of digital money with the post-trade infrastructure will enable the settlement of securities transactions on a delivery-versus-payment (DvP) basis, bringing them closer to full atomicity of securities exchange for cash where the transfer of assets and payments takes place simultaneously and irrevocably.

Shanghai Gold Exchange Launches Hong Kong Certified Vault

In order to fulfill the "Action Plan for Further Facilitating Cross-Border Financial Services in Shanghai International Financial Center," on June 26, 2025, Shanghai Gold Exchange officially launched the International Board certified vault in Hong Kong, and also launched gold trading contracts for delivery in Hong Kong. On the first day, multiple domestic and foreign institutions successfully completed transactions.

The Court of First Instance has determined the buy-out offer details for former chairman and executive director of Sound Global Ltd. (Sound Global), Mr Wen Yibo, to purchase shares in the company held by minority shareholders. The court decision came after Wen was found to have orchestrated a scheme to falsify Sound Global’s bank balances and fabricate bank statements and balance confirmations.
