Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) today announced the results of the annual reconstitution of the Nasdaq-100 Index® (Nasdaq: NDX), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, December 21, 2020.

EBA Confirms Banks’ Solid Capital And Liquidity Positions But Warns About Asset Quality Prospects And Structurally Low Profitability

• Ratios of non-performing loans (NPL) stable, but increasing proportion of Stage 2 and forborne loans.
• Total assets increase by 7% YoY on the back of a rise in lending and surge in cash balances.
• Most banks expect their cost of risk levels to stand between 50 and 100 bps for the current financial year.
• COVID-19 has aggravated the need for measures to reduce operating costs.
• Banks will need to make further efforts to adapt their systems to a challenging technological environment.

ISDA derivatiViews: Action Needed On The DTO

In a matter of weeks, EU and UK firms will no longer be able to trade certain liquid derivatives with each other unless they shift their business onto US swap execution facilities (SEFs), a change that will result in higher costs and operational complexity for end users in both the EU and UK. As we pointed out in a recent joint letter with other trade associations, the best way to resolve the issue is to grant equivalence for trading venues – but time is running out.

Nadex Amends Listing Hours For The Week Of December 28, 2020 For The 2021 New Year Holiday

Nadex will observe the following modified holiday schedule for the week of December 28, 2020:

• Monday, December 28, 2020:  The Exchange will observe regular business hours and contract listings.  Weekly Japan 225, Germany 30, and FTSE 100 listed on this day will expire on Wednesday. All other Weekly contracts listed on this trade date will expire on Thursday, December 31, 2020 or their regular expiration times.
