  • Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased volatility in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of May 17, 2021 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

    Remarks at the 2021 Section 19(d) Conference

    Good afternoon. It’s a privilege to welcome you all to the annual Section 19(d) Conference. I want to start by commending NASAA and SEC staff for their work in putting this event together. And thanks to our colleagues from NASAA and FINRA for joining us and for being steadfast partners in our shared investor protection work.   • Nadex Refrains From Listing Certain Contracts

    Due to activity in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based and pursuant to the authority granted in Nadex Rule 12.1(i), Nadex took the following actions: 

    • No EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, or USD/JPY 5-Minute contracts were listed on trade date May 17, 2021 for the 6:05pm and 6:10pm ET expiration times;

  • ICE Announces That Morgan Stanley Becomes New Clearing Member Of ICE Futures Abu Dhabi

  • Nigerian Exchange Weekly Market Report For May 21st 2021

    A total turnover of 1.048 billion shares worth N11.543 billion in 17,233 deals were traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 840.334 million shares valued at N9.561 billion that exchanged hands last week in 13,239 deals.

    Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announced today the results of the semi-annual review of the OMX Stockholm Benchmark Index (Nasdaq Stockholm: OMXSB) which will become effective at market open on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

    Federal bank regulatory agencies today issued the host state loan-to-deposit ratios that are used to evaluate compliance with section 109 of the Riegle-Neal Interstate Banking and Branching Efficiency Act of 1994. These ratios replace the prior year's ratios from June 2020.

    The Supervisory Board of Krajowy Depozyt Papierów Wartościowych (Central Securities Depository of Poland, KDPW) at its meeting on 20 May 2021 has appointed the KDPW Management Board for a new term of office. All Management Board members have been re-elected: Maciej Trybuchowski as President, Dr Paweł Górecki as Vice-President, Sławomir Panasiuk as Vice-President, and Michał Stępniewski as Vice-President.
